Just because things are advertised as “flushable”, doesn’t mean that they should be. Please do not discard anything down the drains. It is especially important (from an environmental as well as a maintenance standpoint that you do not discard the following items through our plumbing systems:
Fats, oils or grease- Chunks of garbage
- Dental floss
- Paper towels
- Coffee grinds
- Produce stickers
- Egg shells
- Flushable cat litter
- Condoms / wrappers
- Feminine hygiene products
- Rags
- Prescription and over-the-counter medications / vitamins
- Solvents, paints, turpentine, nail polish, polish remover, or other toxic/dangerous chemicals
