Communications Committee
Open committee meetings are the second (2nd) Wednesday of each month, 7:00 PM at the Fairwinds office.
The committee is constantly striving to make community communications clearer and more frequent! Our goal is to
keep everyone informed. Various methods of communication include:
• Fairwinds Update newsletter – both postal mail and email
• Fairwinds website: www.fairwindsofannapolis.org
• Fairwinds Owner Portal (online, owner access only)
• Fairwinds Condo email blasts
• Fairwinds Notice flyers – posted on lobby boards and distributed to townhouses
Covenants Committee
Open committee meetings are the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month, 5:00 PM at the Fairwinds office. Except December when a mutually agreeable date is established.
The Covenants Committee has a lot on its plate – committee members are unit owners only and are appointed to 2-year terms. High on the committee’s list this year is changes to the By Laws to bring them up to date and into compliance with State law. Currently there are 4 active members on the committee but 5 are required – the committee needs just ONE MORE MEMBER!
Elections Committee
Election season is right around the corner. After a brief hiatus, the committee is preparing to start meeting again! There’s a lot to do to get ready for the January 2016 election. The Elections Committee NEEDS NEW MEMBERS! Committee members consist of unit owners only.
Landscape Committee
Open committee meetings are the first (1st) Monday of every month 7:00 PM at the Fairwinds office.
The landscape committee is hard at work. Activities include much needed tree maintenance, both pruning and removing dead, diseased and pest infested trees. Currently we’re gearing up for the fall months to include a turf program. The committee will be doing a walk-through the community to survey plants and spaces that need attention, and, the winter will bring snow, no doubt… we want to make sure the snow removal plan is in place. We are busy!
A huge thanks to Jo Ann Lovell, outgoing Landscape Committee chair for her focus, hard work and dedication to making
Fairwinds a beautiful community. Her years of volunteer service are deeply appreciated! In addition, we are enjoying the newly installed gardens at each of the three Fairwinds signs.
Parking Committee
There’s a lot going on right now with the parking policy, for the safety and well-being of our neighborhood. Get involved, help us solve the parking issues we’re faced with so that all residents benefit from the parking lots that we own and maintain. Parking is only for owners, residents and their guests!
Pool Committee
The 2015 pool season is over and we look forward to next year. The Pool Committee will be gearing back up in the spring – stay tuned!
