New Landscaping Company
Beginning in November, the Board has approved a new landscaping service to be on site. The enhanced service criterion should create a more pleasant and attractive grounds for the residents. In conjunction with this, we have a newly constituted Landscaping Committee to assist in setting and maintaining a desirable community. No residents should be conversing with or giving direction to any of our contractors at anytime. Pruning
The tree pruning program for has been going on for 3 months now. It will continue over the next several months. About every 30 to 45 days, you will see the large white high lift trucks in the community. The goal is to get the growth under control, open up the lights for better night safety and remove damaged or dead limbs.
Curbs / Entryways
We have just completed a review of the curbing and entryways . Some areas have fallen into disrepair. The survey has indicated extensive work is needed and will be happening over the next several months. The work will consist of rebuilding curbs and repairing cracks and eroded sections of the building entrances. Victor Parkway has already had some concrete restoration completed.
Masonry Repairs
Masonry repairs (pointing) has been started in the Silverwood buildings. In a just completed tour, 3 buildings have been identified and will be completed in November. 5 buildings were completed this summer.
Silverwood tile/painting Project
The Silverwood painting /tile project is progressing. As this is a large project, the Board is taking care to have it done in stages to avoid as many problems as possible.
